The "Door-to-Door Sensitization Campaign" launched by the CAMTURK Executive Board, arrived in Ankara, the seat of the Turkish institutions, on the 14th February 2019.
The discussions between the leaders of the UECA (Union of Cameroonian Students in Ankara) and those of CAMTURK took place in a restaurant located at Kızlay.
After the formalities of use, the floor was given to the hosts to unfold the outline of the working session.
Following the various speeches of the executive members of CAMTURK mainly related to the presentation of the association, the advantages of the legalization, the achievements since the legalization, and the importance of unity and associative life, the members of the executive board of the UECA took the relay to express their concerns, list their expectations vis-à-vis CAMTURK, and also to make some recommendations.
The wish to have the texts of the association accessible to all was formulated. The implementation of transparency in the activities and the vitality of the communication are also to be added in the basket of the points to be improved. The aspect of representativity within the managing team of CAMTURK, the conformity with the texts are essential problems that require appropriate solutions, according to the UECA leaders.
In the same vein, they suggested to the leaders of CAMTURK to put a particular emphasis on the establishment of the meeting minutes and reports after an activity or decision-making; for instance, the resignation of Mohamed Nourdine, which is still unknown by a large number of people.
The sensitization campaign in the Central Anatolia region in Ankara ended in Ankara, the political capital of Turkey.
The initiative aiming to set up a revitalization commission has got off the ground and there are already many reasons for satisfaction.
The sensitization campaign will be extended to other regions of Turkey according to a schedule that will be unveiled in a timely manner.
